The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) offers the IFMA Online Community and its corresponding pages, to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all of the terms, conditions, policies and notices stated on the Website. By using the Website, you signify your assent to these Terms and Conditions and any subsequent modifications. IFMA may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting, with the new terms taking effect on the date of posting. Personal and Noncommercial Use
IFMA’s Online Community site is for your personal and noncommercial use. As a condition to your continued use of the Website, you warrant to IFMA that you will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions.
Contributing Content to IFMA
All users are encouraged to contribute information and pictures to IFMA. All contributions must adhere to these rules:

You also grant IFMA an irrevocable, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to redistribute or republish the information in any medium or form.
Content Licensing Agreement
Author grants to International Facility Management Association (IFMA) a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable worldwide license to use author’s work (“work” includes any abstracts, work cited, blog post, podcast, videos, updates, derivative works, new editions, or other materials that are part of or compose the content) for any purpose in any medium that IFMA deems useful, whether such medium is in existence at the time this agreement is signed, or comes into existence after this agreement is signed.
In addition to the Knowledge Library, IFMA may use author’s content in current and future revenue generating endeavors. Author represents and warrants that s/he is the sole author and sole proprietor of all rights in and to all portions of the aforementioned work; that the work is original and not in the public domain; that it has not been previously published; that it does not violate or infringe on any personal or property rights of others, whether common law or statutory; that it contains nothing libelous or otherwise contrary to law; and that s/he has full power to enter into this agreement. Author also represents and warrants that the work contains no material from other works protected by copyright that has been used without the written consent of the copyright owner, and that s/he has provided (or is simultaneously providing) IFMA with copies of all such written consents required by this sentence.
Author agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IFMA’s officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives against any claims brought by third parties against IFMA which arise out of Author’s breach of this agreement, including, but not limited to, all costs of the proceeding, reasonable attorney’s fees and damages arising from any infringement or alleged infringement of any proprietary rights, including copyrights, committed by Author in his/her works. Nothing in the author’s content, shall disparage or denigrate any person or group based on race, sex, religion, age, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or marital status; and shall not disparage or defame the name, goods, services, or products of others. By submitting content for consideration for publication in IFMA’s Knowledge Library or Websites, I agree to these terms and consider this a formal, binding agreement or contract.
IFMA does not endorse and is not responsible for any statement, opinion, advice given or made in discussion forums. Your use of the IFMA discussion forums is at your own risk.
IFMA does not intend to engage in any prior review of notes posted to discussion areas, but it reserves the right in its sole discretion and for any reason to delete or redirect any information or other content posted to the Website (including posts to discussion areas), regardless of whether the information or other content violates the rules for content described in above policies. Further, IFMA reserves the right to limit or terminate service to participants who violate the terms of this Agreement.
In no event will IFMA be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of programs or information, and the like) arising out of the IFMA discussion forums, or any information or services provided on the Website, even if IFMA has been advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim attributable to errors, omissions, or other inaccuracies published on the Website.
IFMA is not responsible for censoring or monitoring postings, but it reserves the right to enforce the policies outlined in this document and reserves the right to move or remove notes at its sole discretion and without explanation.
IFMA retains full copyright ownership, rights and protection in all material contained on the online community Website, including but not limited to material submitted by community contributors. Except as otherwise expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions, you may not copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, rewrite, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any material contained on the Website without the prior consent of the copyright owner. Limitation of Liability
